Opening February 5, 2012, Lanterman House will host a very special exhibition to celebrate the centennial of the Girl Scouts of America. Developed in conjunction with the LA Council's Heritage Committee, the exhibition will be on display through July 26, 2012.

Tour reservations for Girl Scout Troops are still available on our public tour afternoons (Tuesday, Thursday and 1st and 3rd Sunday). Please call the Museum Office at 818-790-1421, to schedule a tour.

The Girl Scout Centennial exhibit will feature historic photographs and other visuals, uniforms, books, dolls and a wealth of other memorabilia. It will lead the visitor through the history of the Girl Scouts, how the organization responded to the challenges of the 20th century, and how it remains vibrant today. Learn how the Girl Scouts have provided opportunities for learning and growth to the girls of our nation for 100 years.
Many badge requirements for current scouts concerning Julliette Low and GSA History can be satisfied by touring the exhibition.
